Beacon Hill park is popular with naturalists, flower lovers & kids of all ages.

Beacon Hill Park is beautifully landscaped. Volunteers take good care of the plants and gardens.

Kids of all ages enjoy the petting zoo/animal farm. It is fun and educational.

It's fun to watch the peacocks strut their stuff. There's about 35 Blue Indian Peafowl wandering freely throughout the park.

The goat stampede takes place daily 10 minutes after opening & 10 minutes before closing.

Herons have been mating in the park every spring since 1982. When you walk under their nests be sure to wear a hat!

People of all ages love to feed the ducks - bring along some bird seed!

Be sure to wash your hands well if you handle the animals at the Petting Zoo.

The zoo employees take really good care of the animals.

The petting zoo is open from Feb. 24 to Sep. 4 - Admission is by donation.

Every spring Great Blue Herons mate at the park. Not many chics survive due to the nearby eagles.

The park is especially beautiful in the spring when the cherry trees are blooming.

You can get within about a foot of the peacocks & then they walk away.

The putting green is being renovated & will be open the middle of April.

The albino peacock at the Petting Zoo/Animal Farm is very beautiful & very rare.
