I would definitely suggest riding up the steps on the donkey because it is very steep and going down could be scarier. Plus it is easier to walk down a hill then up it. It was an interesting ride and you got to look out off the cliff at the sea. It was surprisingly easy to ride and not that scary at all. Some people did think it was cruel to the animals. I wouldn't use it as a regular method to get up the cliff, but it was definitely worth trying. Read Full Review
