This is a great city to visit. I really want to come back. The food is delicious and cheap (and you are not expected to tip, but we did because we appreciated their service). The attractions here are really interesting, everyone is so friendly, and it a safe place to visit. Walking through the streets of the old city made you feel like you were in another world. It really opened my eyes to experience such an interesting and different place. I highly recommend visiting Istanbul.
