The United States of America is home to some three hundred million citizens, living across 3.6 million square miles which stretches from the Atlantic to the Pacific, plus Alaska to the north and the Hawaiian Islands out in the Pacific ocean. The US is a relatively young country, but artifacts dating back as far as 12,000 B.C. attest to humankind’s early presence here, and Anasazi ruins present a glimpse of life in the year 900. A.D.
