Singapore is a very easy place to visit because of the numerous English-speaking people and abundance signage. It's a city that makes sense and is well laid out. The transportation system is first rate and there's a huge range of accomodations that suit every budget. Since it's hot year-round, there's really no particularly good or bad time to go.
