Las Vegas is everything people say it is. If you like to gamble, this city is a MUST. For lower budgets, consider staying downtown near Fremont St. but plan on cabbing it to the strip at least once. Other alternatives would be the Stratosphere and Sahara which are at the north end of the strip and easy to get to the strip or downtown. Nearby attractions include Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and Laughlin, NV (less than 2 hour drive). Read Full Review
