It is a beautiful city that has a lot to offer without feeling too dense and crazy like other big cities. The french makes you feel like you are over in Europe without even needing to leave Canada. One visit is not enough. Read Full Review
Montreal is a wonderful city. It's very different from Canada's other big city. Old Montreal is very beautiful but there are newer things close to Old Montreal well worth checking out. The kids loved the interactive stuff at the Science Centre. Also the botanical gardens and Biodome near the Olympic stadium are very neat. Read Full Review
This is a nice city. Beautiful architecture and parks. People seem friendly enough although we did get a bit of the snub they seem to reserve for English speaking Canadians. The university seems to make the place a very lively city and the jazz festival is amazing. But be aware that if you try to get anywhere by car in the city during the festival, you're kind of screwed -the city is an island after all and getting off it was nearly impossible on the last night of the jazz fest. We stayed in Chinatown and walked all over the city. Mont Royal was a very pleasant surprise, especially walking through the University and stopping at the Museum of Art on the way back. The old part of the city, just South of China town was very pretty - although a little too touristy, there were plenty of shops and reasonably priced cafes. Read Full Review
