The impressive award-winning atrium hotel is on the 53rd to the 87th floor of the Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai‘s business area. The view of the atrium from the 53rd floor reception is impressive & the city view from the rooms gives the impression of taking off in a plane. It‘s not for people with high-anxiety! The décor of the hotel is a mix of Chinese & fab art deco.

Shanghai is famous for antiques. Dongtai Antique Market is huge & the vendors sell everything from crickets to gold statues. Kua Ji Road’s Sunday flea market has a wide variety of unusual objects that up & coming collectors are on the lookout for.
The hotel is away from the hot spots but there’s more than enough restaurants to satisfy most palates. Cloud 9 is on the top floor & has an impressive view day & night. PU’J’s is a hip place to dance the night away.
