The location is great because it is close to many attractions and the main train station. The staff are friendly and personable and the hotel has been family run since 1966. It has undergone recent renovations for the Olympics, but more work could still be done. The soundproofing is great, but the furniture and decor are not the best.

The friendly staff are what makes a stay here appealing. But the area is not great at night.
Try and not go out too late at night. Also try to schedule your check-in during the day because the valet service does not run at night.
The area at night can be unsafe. People can be found drinking on the street at night and even in the morning. With groups of people hanging out here beware of pickpockets. Tourists are easy targets.
