Overall
This hotel is right downtown in Old Montreal, steps away from many things to see. It is surrounded my other great buildings rich in architecture and design. A great getaway for relaxation...a small, friendly hotel with a great atmosphere and excellent staff...

What you remember most
The luxurious rooms, friendly staff, and overall great experience. A simple, elegant establishment with great charm.
Advice for future guests
Make sure to try the jams at breakfast - they're all homemade and amazing! Also, try the homemade Creton - it's a Quebec pate and very good. If you want some sort of eggs (omelettes?) for breakfast, however, you'll have to go down the street because they only serve hard boiled ones!
Check-In
We checked in after midnight without any problems.
Guest Rooms
The bathroom towels and the bath robe could have been "fluffier" and more plush - not only was the bathrobe not comfortable, there was only one bathrobe in the double room. Also, as picky as it sounds, the toilet paper, although always nicely folded to a point by the staff (!) seemed a little low grade for what you would expect for the quality of the hotel..
Staff Service
The staff is highly courteous and very helpful.
Restaurant/Bar
The restaurant is new and very tastefully decorated. Breakfast is served as a side buffet - the only criticsm is that you can't get any kind of eggs other than hard boiled! It would be nice to get an omelette or a crepe.
Safety & Security
The hotel is located in the heart of Old Montreal, and is very safe.
